Plasma Fibroblast
The closest treatment to that of surgical skin lifting
The Science Behind Ageing Skin
As we age, our skin naturally loses its elasticity and firmness
due to a decrease in collagen and elastin production.
This leads to the development of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin,
and other signs of ageing.
While there are numerous treatments available to address
these concerns, many require invasive procedures,
long recovery times, or synthetic fillers and injections.
What is Plasma Fibroblast?
Plasma Fibroblast technology works by using a pen-like device that emits a tiny electrical arc, also known as a plasma flash, onto the surface of the skin. This flash creates controlled micro-injuries in the targeted area, which stimulates the body’s natural healing process. The fibroblasts (cells responsible for producing collagen) are activated, leading to increased collagen production and tissue regeneration.
This process tightens and lifts the skin, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and other signs of ageing. The treatment is highly precise, making it suitable for delicate areas such as the eyelids, around the mouth, and even the neck.
What Areas Can Be Treated with Plasma Fibroblast?
Plasma Fibroblast is incredibly versatile and can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including:
Eyelid Lifting (Non-Surgical Blepharoplasty): Tightens the skin around the eyes, reducing drooping and lifting the upper eyelids.
Crow’s Feet and Forehead Lines: Smooths out fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful appearance.
Lip Flip and Smile Lines: Enhances the natural shape of the lips and reduces lines around the mouth.
Neck and Jawline: Tightens and firms sagging skin, providing a more defined jawline.
Stretch Marks and Scars: Reduces the appearance of stretch marks and scars by stimulating collagen and tissue regeneration.
Body Skin Tightening: Tightens and lifts the skin on area such as, but not limited to arms, elbows, knees and stomach.
What to Expect During and After Treatment
A typical Plasma Fibroblast treatment begins with a thorough consultation to assess your skin and discuss your aesthetic goals. During the procedure, the targeted areas are numbed with a topical anesthetic to ensure your comfort.
The treatment itself is relatively quick, typically taking 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Following the procedure, you will experience some redness, swelling, and small scabs or dots in the treated area. These effects are temporary and usually subside within a week, revealing smoother, tighter skin.
The Benefits of Plasma Fibroblast
Non-Surgical: Achieve significant skin tightening and rejuvenation without surgery.
Natural Results: The treatment stimulates your body’s natural collagen production, leading to long-lasting, natural-looking improvements.
Minimal Downtime: Most patients can return to their normal activities within 4 or so days.
Versatile: Effective for a wide range of skin concerns, from fine lines to sagging skin.
Cost-Effective: A more affordable alternative to surgical procedures with lasting results.
Results can be seen immediately and continue to improve over the following weeks as collagen production increases. Most clients require only one to two sessions for optimal results, and the effects can last up to three years, making it a long-lasting solution for ageing skin.
Contraindications
Plasma Fibroblast therapy is not okay for everyone.
You shouldn’t undergo the plasma fibroblast treatment if you:
have an allergy to topical anesthetic preparations
are using isotretinoin for acne or wrinkles
are pregnant
have an infection at the treatment site.
Additionally, if you have a history of hypertrophic scarring or keloids, then you should approach plasma fibroblast therapy with caution.
How to prepare for your Plasma Pen treatment?
To ensure the very best results, it’s important to follow all advice from your Plasma Pen Technician prior to your treatment. We recommend that you:
1. Avoid sun-bathing, spray tanning, tanning injections, or sunbeds for at least 4 weeks before your treatment.
2. Use SPF50 daily for up to 4 weeks before the treatment to protect your skin.
3. Avoid any other type of treatment or active skin care, such as retinol in the same area as you are having treated for up to 4 weeks before the treatment, including laser therapy, chemical peels, micro needling, or fillers.
4. Avoid smoking and alcohol in the run-up to your treatment.
How to look after your skin for the first three months
After the first 7-days, you should find that the carbon crusts have naturally fallen off, however your skin may be a little pink as it is essentially fresh, new, and rejuvenated skin. Once the Plasma carbon crust have fallen off, you are now able to start applying your normal makeup but avoid using all other skincare products that contain glycolic or exfoliating ingredients. We also recommend:
Once the Plasma carbon crust have fallen off, you must now begin to apply SPF50+ sunscreen every day whilst your skin is healing, and for at least 12 weeks.
Avoid in the first 6 weeks any non-invasive/heat treatments such as radiofrequency, laser peels and micro-needling.
Avoid saunas, Steam rooms, and sunbeds for up to 12 weeks during the healing period.
Avoid all other medi-aesthetic or surgical treatments on the same area for at least 8-12 weeks for dermal fillers, 3 weeks for neurotoxins whilst skin is healing.
Characteristics
Frequency: One treatment only is typically required, however, for some, another may be needed 3 months later.
Duration: Treatment times vary depending on area.
Will it hurt?: We apply a strong numbing cream to the area before the treatment. Most clients feel minimal discomfort to nothing at all.
The days following the treatment will be a little uncomfortable, like that of a sunburn. Applying ice compress to the area will help. You may choose to take Panadol or Ibuprofen to help with discomfort.
How to care for your skin for the first 7 days
For the first 7 days following a Plasma Pen facial treatment, it is normal for your skin to feel quite tight and dry, or you may experience very slight and occasional weeping that will settle over time. Small Plasma carbon crusts will form on the treated area, and these will be visible for up to a week or so before naturally flaking off. To care for your skin following a Plasma Pen facial treatment, we recommend the following:
Do not pick off the crusts as this will delay the healing process and can cause scarring.
Cleanse the area daily with Non-Perfumed Cleansing wipes, Cleansing Tonic or lukewarm water, and a soft, lint-free cloth to remove excess oil. Follow this by patting skin dry with a clean tissue.
Ensure the scabs and crusts are hydrated by applying Silver Colloidal Gel with Aloe Vera, Advanced repair healing balm or Vaseline twice a day.
Avoid applying lotions and creams that contain perfumes, active retinol or alcohol to the areas of the skin that have been treated and only use your own skin care once the scabs have shed.
Do not use exfoliating products on the treated area as this may result in scarring.
Do not use your own makeup until all scabs have shed.
If you have had a Plasma Pen treatment around the eyes, avoid wearing contact lenses for 72 hours.

HIFU - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound
Globally know as the Non-Surgical Facelift
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound uses its energy to target the layers of skin just below the surface. The ultrasound energy causes the tissue to heat up rapidly. Once the cells in the targeted area reach a certain temperature, they experience cellular disruption. While this may seem counterintuitive, this actually stimulates the cells to produce more collagen — a protein that provides structure to the skin. The increase in collagen results in tighter, firmer skin with fewer wrinkles. Since the high-frequency ultrasound beams are focused on a specific tissue site below the skin’s surface, there’s no damage to the upper layers of the skin and adjacent tissue.
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound for your body creates a powerful thermal effect that destroys targeted fat without damaging surrounding tissue. At the same time, high-intensity ultrasound can also speed up the body metabolism as well as shrink our skin fibres, so the treatment will help you lose fat and improve body shape while tightening and lifting the skin.
Non-Surgical Facelift
High Intensity Focused Ultrasound targets specific areas of the face or neck to delivery precise ultrasound energy at multiple points, creating hundreds of thermal zones. These thermal zones in the underlying skin provide an immediate shrinkage effect to deep tissue structures and to the dermal skin layer, that ultimately tightens connective tissue and regenerates new collagen growth for a renewed and more youthful skin appearance.
