Thuzzle Skin Resurfacing and Lifting utilises Fractional Radial technology to deliver superficial epidermal micro-ablation in combination with volumetric heating of the dermis for retraction and neocollagenesis.

The fractional radiofrequency technique uses 40 or 64 pin tips to safely deliver RF energy through the skin’s surface. This creates micro wounds, which initiate a natural healing process and accelerate the formation of new, healthy tissue. The innovative combination of Fractional Radial technology with volumetric heating makes it possible to treat coarse textures and elastosis in a single treatment, resulting in clinically proven improvements in skin texture and skin tightening.

Contraindications

The following people should not be treated under any circumstances:

  • Pregnant and lactating women

  • Minors

  • Persons presenting with flu like symptoms or general discomfort or pain

  • Fake tan

  • UV sunburn

  • Laser treatment on the area (within 3 weeks)

  • Surgery on the area (within 3 - 6 months)

  • Waxing or plucking (3 days)

  • Cancer, Chemotherapy, Radiation current

  • Contagious skin disorders/diseases

Expectations

It should be taken into account that the results of the treatment will depend on each person specifically and taking into account daily water intake, sun exposure, diet.

In general, clients will notice an improvement of skin texture and reduction in fine lines within the first week of treatment with continuing improvement up to 6 weeks post the last treatment in that course.

Characteristics

Frequency: A typical course of treatment involves 1 - 5 treatments spaced 90 days apart.
Touch-up treatments may be needed approximately every 6 - 12 months, according to individual needs and responses.

Duration: Treatment times vary depending on area.

During treatment you will feel moderate warmth. A mild to moderate discomfort may be more evident in certain areas, such as the forehead and nose. A flicking sensation is normal.

Immediately after treatment & up to 5 days post treatment the skin will feel warm and appear pink in colour. This is due to the normal inflammation process. The warm sensation can increase over the following 4 hours.
On day 3-5 post treatment, you may experience mild edema, persistent redness and crusts will be observed, which are part of the tissue regeneration process.

Side Effects

Although treatment is considered harmless, the following unexpected side effects may occur:

  • -Extreme redness

  • Swelling

  • Sensitivity

  • Blisters

  • Burns

  • Temporary tingling or itchiness of the skin
